1935 World Series Bat and Ticket

There's a 1935 American League Championship Souvenir Bat and Game 1 World Series Ticket Stub for sale on eBay for $300. (as of June 11, 2012)

They are both gorgeous, as you can see below, and if I had the cash to spend on something like this, ("like this" meaning, memorabilia that I like primarily because it is beautifully designed and secondly because it's history of a game and team that I only recently showed much interest in) well, if I had the cash, it would be mine. I'm content to look at the beautiful photos the seller has posted though.

Don't call it a food blog. 

My friends and I go for brunch and then write about it. For some reason we took the names of the cast of the Breakfast Club. It's an odd blog, but it seems to work.
